Our Alumni
Bikeworks was founded as a social enterprise in 2006 in London’s East End, opening its first premises overlooking Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets.
The humble bicycle is used as a tool for social, environmental and community change. This is done via disability, health and wellbeing programmes, employment and skills training and strong revenue generation.
Bikeworks runs everything from bicycle repair services, to bicycle maintenance workshops, corporate team programmes building bikes and cycle training to kids. If it’s bicycle related and good for society, they probably do it!
It is amazing what you can cover in one hour, but this was the experience meeting Rob. He clearly knows the questions to ask and I left with solid feedback and actions to follow on with.
