bio-bean is an innovative green energy company. We collect waste coffee grounds and turn them into fuels – the most valuable commodity on the planet.
London produces over 200,000 tonnes of waste coffee grounds annually (from coffee shops, roasters, and instant coffee producers). This ends up in landfill, and the degradation of coffee grounds produces methane, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide: which are greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
Bio-bean taps into this resource, diverting it from landfill and processing it to produce biodiesel and biomass pellets.
Listen to Arthur explain how the company works in this short video.
Here Arthur shares what he learnt about doing business with big companies as a small start-up in his session.
It was absolutely incredible to get so much of Sir Charles’ time. He brings years of experience and a huge amount of success to the table. It was great to be able to ask for his advice on how to make my business a success.
